The rule book
Lastyx is a survivor pool for crypto prices on Solana. Call each five minutes UP or DOWN; a wrong call crosses the river; the last lamps standing split the pot. Half of every entry burns.
What it is
You pay a fixed dollar amount of LASTYX to enter a pool. The amount in coins comes from a 30-minute average price recorded on chain, so a quick pump or dump of the coin does not change what an entry costs. Every round (five minutes in the hourly pool) you call the round's asset UP or DOWN. The program judges each round from Pyth prices recorded at the round's two boundaries. A wrong call is out. The survivors after the last round split the pot.
Half of every entry is burned when the pool locks; the other half is the pot. Survivors also get an engine bonus of up to 25 % of the pot, paid in LASTYX that the engine bought on the market. A pool that does not reach its minimum entries refunds everyone 100 %.
A round, judged
Round r runs from start + r × L to start + (r + 1) × L, where L is the round length (300 s in the hourly pool). Its two boundaries are those two moments. The call that counts for a round is the one set before the round starts (its lock). Your call carries from round to round until you change it, and you can only change the call of the next round to lock.
The boundary rule
A boundary's price is the latest Pyth print with a publish time at or before the boundary that was recorded on chain. Anyone may record true prints; recording can only make the record more current, and a print can never be removed.
- A print older than 120 s before the boundary never counts for it.
- The first print after the boundary closes it: no later print can be at or before it, so the boundary is final.
- With a Pyth key the keeper posts the exact print at the boundary instead (publish time equal to the boundary); it replaces the candidate. After 10 min anyone may finalize a boundary: final if a print was recorded, missing if none was.
The outcome
| When | Result | Who crosses |
|---|---|---|
| close above open | ▲ UP | every DOWN call |
| close below open | ▼ DOWN | every UP call |
| close equals open | push | nobody |
| every standing call was wrong | void | nobody (Circa rule: nobody stays out when everybody is wrong) |
| a boundary has no recorded print | no price | nobody |
| a boundary print's confidence is wider than 0.5 % of its price | low confidence | nobody |
A round that still cannot be judged 24 h after it ended is resolved as no price. Nobody, the team included, can choose a result: the program computes it from the two recorded prints. Every boundary, its print, publish time and transaction are in the judgement record.
Pools
| Pool | Rounds | Starts | Entries open | Min entries | Entry |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hourly | 12 × 5 min, BTC | every hour on the hour (UTC) | 1 h before | 2 tickets | $5 |
| Multi | 12 × 5 min, rotating SOL, ETH, gold, BTC | every hour at :30 | 1 h before | 2 tickets | $5 |
| Grand | 24 × 1 h, BTC | daily 13:00 UTC | 24 h before | 8 tickets | $20 |
| Squads | 12 × 5 min, BTC | every 3 h on the hour | 3 h before | 2 active squads | $5 each + $2 squad fee |
| Sponsored | 12 × 5 min, BTC | the sponsor picks an hour | from creation | 2 tickets | free, hold $10 of LASTYX |
| Private | 6 to 24 × 5 min, 15 min or 1 h | the creator picks | from creation | 2 to 100 | $1 to $100 + $10 to create |
Up to 10 tickets per wallet per pool. Entry prices are Config values the operations multisig may set between $1 and $100; a change affects new entries only.
Entries, pot, payouts
- Your entry waits in the pool's escrow until the lock. At the lock, if the pool reached its minimum, 50 % of the escrow is burned and 50 % becomes the pot. If it did not, every entry is refunded in full.
- At the end, the pot plus the engine bonus (the smaller of 25 % of the pot and 10 % of the engine's bonus reserve) is split equally per surviving seat, whatever each seat paid in coins. The remainder that does not divide evenly is burned.
- A revive (when open) costs 3 × the entry price now: half burns at once, half joins the pot. Sponsored and private pools get no engine bonus; a private pool burns 5 % of its pot at the end.
- Claims and refunds never wait for the keeper: you call them from your wallet. Losing entries close too and return their account rent.
The fee path, told whole
- Trading fee1.95 SOLpaid on every buy and sell, in SOL
- Meteora keeps0.39 SOL20 % of the fee
- Dev multisig1.092 SOL70 % of the router, a cap that can only go down
- Engine0.468 SOL30 % of the router, buys LASTYX
- Bonus reserve0.234 SOL50 % of engine buys, paid to survivors
- Burned0.14 SOL30 % of engine buys
- Jackpot0.0936 SOL20 % of engine buys, Perfect 24
70 % of the trading fee is the dev share. What ties use to the coin is the burn: half of every entry, every revive, every squad and private pool fee, every title, and 30 % of what the engine buys.
- LASTYX trades on a Meteora DBC pool that graduates to DAMM v2, both with a 1.95 % fee on buys and sells, paid in SOL. Meteora keeps 20 % of it, so 1.56 % of volume reaches the fee router.
- The router pays 70 % to one public dev multisig (1.092 % of volume) and 30 % to the engine (0.468 % of volume). The 70 % is a cap compiled into the program: it can only be lowered, and the dev multisig address is fixed at initialization with no setter.
- The engine buys LASTYX on the market at most every 10 minutes and splits what it buys: 50 % bonus reserve, 30 % burned, 20 % to the Perfect 24 jackpot.
- Sponsor money goes 100 % to the engine and the prize. The private pool platform cut (5 % of the pot) is burned.
Before launch there is no fee yet. After launch this paragraph shows the router's live totals.

Roadmap
Launch opens the hourly pool. Every other utility stays locked until the operations multisig opens it on chain, one at a time, each with its own web release. The day one plan is one every three hours:

Risks, plainly
- Calls lose.
- Most lamps cross. A pool can end with one survivor; you can lose your whole entry.
- Taking both sides does not pay.
- Holding UP and DOWN tickets keeps some alive each round, but half of everything paid burns at the lock and the pot is shared per seat. Example: 20 tickets at $5 pay $100; $50 burns; the pot is $50 plus a bonus of up to $12.50. Covering both sides with 10 of them costs $50 for at most a share of that pot.
- The fee is high and 70 % of it is the dev share.
- Every buy and sell pays 1.95 %. The coin's link to use is the burn, not the fee.
- Oracle timing.
- BTC and ETH Pyth push prints arrive about once a minute, so a boundary's price can be up to a minute older than the boundary itself. The rule is fixed and public; the record shows the lag of every boundary.
- Keeper delays.
- If the keeper falls behind, picks for later rounds wait. Rounds are still judged from recorded prints, and any wallet can record prints and resolve a late round itself.
- Smart contract and legal risk.
- The program is new. A paid-entry prediction game is restricted in many places; Lastyx is not offered there and is for people 18 and over.
